The Costa Verde
South of Rio, the mountains of the Atlantic Forest drop straight into a bay full of islands and emerald water. It's where cariocas escape to, and a place we've dreamed of sharing with you. One day with nothing to do but swim, eat and float.
It's also our thank-you to everyone who traveled so far to be here. Before the wedding days begin, we want a whole day with you, far from everything.
Did you know?
- Angra dos Reis is said to have 365 islands, one for every day of the year.
- There are no cars on Ilha Grande. The island held a prison until 1994, which helped keep its nature almost untouched.
- The Atlantic Forest is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, and some of its best-preserved stretches line this coast.
